The Aquatic Rescue Essentials is an entry-level lifesaving course designed for people who want to develop the core skills required to assist in water rescue situations.
This program builds a strong foundation in water safety, rescue awareness, and emergency response. Participants learn how to recognise hazards, assess risks, and make safe decisions when responding to someone in difficulty in the water. The course also develops practical rescue techniques, teamwork skills, and the physical readiness needed to safely assist others.
Through a combination of theory and practical activities, the Aquatic Rescue Essentials strengthens participants’ confidence, judgement, and capability in aquatic environments. It’s a great starting point for those interested in lifesaving roles or anyone who wants to build valuable water safety and rescue skills for real-world situations.
