This course provides aquatic professionals with specialised training in understanding, supporting, and teaching neurodivergent swimmers, including those on the autism spectrum and with other cognitive, sensory, or learning differences.

Participants explore key concepts such as neurodiversity, inclusive communication, sensory processing, behaviour support, and risk reduction strategies for wandering and drowning. The program empowers swim instructors to create safe, structured, and flexible lessons that meet individual needs, promote engagement, and foster confidence in the water.

Developed in partnership with Autism Swim, the training combines evidence-based techniques with real-world teaching applications to ensure every swimmer has the opportunity to thrive.
