The Ampd Academy Provide First Aid provides the skills and knowledge required to provide a first aid response to a casualty. The unit applies to all workers who may be required to provide a first aid response in a range of situations‚ including community and workplace settings.

Prerequisites
To ensure a successful and effective learning experience, please review the following pre-requisites before submitting an application for enrolment in the First Aid course.
- Minimum Age: 14 years.
- Eligibility: Candidates must be Australian or New Zealand citizens or hold an appropriate visa allowing them to undertake education. Please note: Ampd Academy is not a CRICOS provider and cannot enroll students on an international student visa.
- Technology & Preparation: You’ll need a smart device or computer with internet access to complete online and pre-course activities — including a quick quiz to help us confirm your enrolment and check if any support is needed before training begins.
- Physical Fitness: Participants must be able to perform at least 2 minutes of uninterrupted single rescuer cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on an adult resuscitation manikin placed on the floor.
